Polar bears hold town HOSTAGE: State of emergency declared as 52 predators storm town

RUSSIAN officials are preparing an urgent operation to break a siege of polars bears at a remote Arctic town. A plan is underway to sedate up to 52 predators terrorising the settlement of Belushya Guba on the Novaya Zemlya archipelago where they are “chasing” locals and behaving aggressively.
